In terms of magazine journalism, it is relevant because it shatters the myth that black people do not sell magazines.

But in terms of VOGUE itself, it is a desperate attempt for them to be relevant when the popularity is waning, especially American Vogue which is YEARS behind French & British Vogue in terms of style and fashion shoots.

Having said that, Beyonce is going to be on the cover pretty soon as well.

@Taylor, why shouldn’t she be on the cover? She is relevant to the readership. Stop hating.

Beyonce!!? What movement is she leading? I’m all for Michele Obama gracing covers left, right and center. Go Girl!

But I have Beyonce overload right now. She’s needs a long vacation. I still wish Etta James woulda opened a can of whup-a$$ on her …. But there’s still hope.

@Taylor, why are you hating on another black woman doing well? Michelle isn’t the only successful black woman in the world. SMH.

Having overload isn’t hating. I’m not the only one who feels this way. I loved Beyonce, but too much of anything ain’t good. That’s not hating, that’s fatigue.
