I don't know If I said it already but ...Excellent site, keep up the good work. I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say I'm glad I found your blog. Thanks, :)

Ten years ago Davenport was still out of shape she didn't have any self confidence and the Williams Sisters were so young just starting to play full time in 1997. Martina had the world stage to herself. I think Hingis is talented but I don't believe she wanted to do the hard work and improve her game. Martina needed a bigger serve. The Williams Sisters and Davenport have the serve and the power. Even Justine Henin she's only five foot five yet she is so powerful. Martina can learn a lot from Justine.

I agree about Stefanek I mean I don't want to sound rude but that man is simply not attractive or even decent looking he's so scary looking. I don't know what Martina saw in that guy? I think Martina is searching for peace in her life I hope she finds it.

I don't think Davydenko is a cheater either he has proven he is worth of a top 5 ranking. Nikolay has been so consistent this year reaching the French Open and US OPEN semifinals he is so close to winning a major. I think for Nikolay he just needs the belief and not be afraid. The ATP TOUR are unfairly targeting him he's a serious talent he's proven he's the real deal. I do believe he can win slams he just needs the mental toughness.

I'm still trying to find out what Hingis saw in Radek Stepanek. He did win a tournament this year. And I agree with the other commenter that Hingis was more marketable when she was 16 and winning everything - it was easier for the US Media to spotlight her, despite her attitude - remember that underhanded serve she used against Steffi Graf at the French Open. As for the steroids thing - I am more inclined to believe the betting scandals than the accusations of steroid use. There are just some matches in which you can't help but suspect that the players have thrown a game or a set. The Andy Murray-Richard Gasquet match in Paris last week - I think Gasquet didn't win one game of that set? That was susipicious. And before the French Open, Federer and Nadal were in a final on clay and the King of Clay, known for his stamina and energy, lost the third set at Love - I didn't buy that either. In contrast, I don't think Davydenko was involved in a gambling thing when he got fined a few weeks ago. That man plays darn near every single tournament there is - he was tired. And if they are going to start this 'best effort' fining business, then they need to apply it to everyone equally - #1 Federer loses to Nalbandian - well that can't be Federer's best effort so he should be fined. Obviously, Federer's best effort is a win. I swear men's tennis is starting to resemble pro wrestling. The top players are 'putting over' the other guys just like the top wrestlers do.

Huh?

They both dope, lie and cheat.

Just because Lindsey has not been busted yet (neither have the Williams sisters) and had a baby (massive fertility hormones) does not make them different.

Hingis was more cute and more marketable--always.

They both abuse steroids, hGH, insulin EPO, corticosteroids and injectablke amphetamines (Pot Belge)

Pot Belge = a compound of morphine, heroin, caffeine and coacine

All top tennis players abuse PEDs. Standard.

Quit with the doper apologies. They both cheat.
